Education
I am a retired teacher who has taught in middle schools, high schools, and college settings and adult education for 30 years. My course of study throughout my college years included a B.S. degree and M.A. degree with a 3.8 GPA. I have attended and taught courses at Eastern Michigan University and the University of Michigan. I majored in English & Language Arts and Business Education.
Experience
Since my retirement 2 years ago, I have been able to meet in tutoring sessions with several students in the Naperville/Plainfield area. I have currently begun to work with a magazine publisher as a copy editor and want to open up the possibility to help local students become better readers, writers, thinkers, and test takers. Not only is my work dedicated to helping others succeed, it keeps my intellect as sharp as it can be for the long run.
